Meet Your Captain/Broker/AgentAviation has been a lifelong commitment, having started my flying career at the age of 12. I went on to solo on my 17th Birthday and qualified as a Private Pilot soon after. I qualified as a Commercial Pilot, and an Instructor under the JAA system at the age of 19. My first jet type was added to my FAA Certificate at the age of 20 and I was awarded my first command, of a Citation S2 at the age of 23. Having qualified close to the industry downturn following the 9/11 attacks, I established my career as a Freelance Instructor and Pilot, remaining primarily self-employed until joining a full time part 135 operation in 2015, I quickly found success by specialising in the support of privately owned and operated aircraft, quickly gaining experience in all aspects of the operation, not simply the flying. Having gained considerable command experience, and as an Aviation Department Manager I have been able to derive considerable operator savings and have been successful in the rapid turnaround of operations that have previously been mismanaged on various levels. Regarding myself as a problem solver, In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as weather, mechanical or the like, I always attempt to approach the client with a solution instead of simply a negative situation. I relocated to the United States in 2011, and consequently from the time prior to this gained extensive international experience including Europe, North Atlantic, Middle East, North Africa, Russia and Eastern Europe. I am fully aware of the fact that there is always something new to learn in the industry, even from those who may be less experienced and I also feel that professional development is a vital and on-going process. With that in mind I have recently begun to study towards the NBAA Certified Aviation Manager qualification.
